The
Fiat CR-42 FALCO first flew in 1939 and was
the last of a series of famous biplane fighters. it
was exported to Sweden,
Hungary,
and Belgium. The Fiat CR-42 was outdated by 1940, but were extremely versatile and served as fighter
interceptors, escort planes, bombers and night fighters, over Libya,
the Mediterranean
and Russian Fronts.
