The Whinner Grav-van was one of many utilitarian designs produced by The Whinner  Grav Systems.    During the Second Starwar, many thousands of these vehicles were produced.  The design was often copied, frequently unlicensed, and a vast number of these simple robust grav-trucks are still operating out on the frontiers.

The Whinner Gray-van Model 2260 was designed with an eye to simplicity, reliability, and utility. The design proved to be one of the more versatile and this combined with its comparatively low price resulted in wide usage and a long production run.

The 212 cubic foot area between the floor and bottom provided ample space for the plasma turbine, generator, grav-pads, compressed hydrogen fuel tanks, with room to spare. Many units were pressurized and fitted with small airlock just inside the rear door, for use on airless or poison atmosphere planets.

Our Grav-Van kits contains:  three complete paper kits:  The Whinner Grav Systems maintenance vehicle, the Skysend City ambulance and the OTAVI Back Country and Surveyors equipment van.
