Q: What scale are Starguard figures?

25mm; 1/72 scale vehicles match this size well, allowing you to use a variety of model kits in Starguard games.

Q: What is the Starguard "ground scale?"

1" (2.5cm) = 20 yards / meters.

Q: How much does it cost to get started?

Starguard is a "skirmish scale" game, with a figure representing a individual figure. Because of the deadliness of the weapons, high troop mobility and excellent communications, battles tend to involve fairly small numbers of troops. Thus, you can start gaming without having to buy hundreds of figures.

The Starguard rules cost about $20.00. A "starter set" is available for each race for about $10.00. So, you and a friend could get started for a total of about $40.00. Two good sets to start with are the Starguard special force and the Ralnai Super Strike. A unit of Dreenoi can be matched against a unit of Terrellian "Tunnel Rats."

Larger units are available for $20-$35; numerous weapons, robots, "personality figures" and vehicles are available singly or in small sets.

Q: Are spaceships for the Starguard races available?

Reviresco produces dozens of spaceships, running from fighters and corvettes to huge battleships. Space battles can be fought with rules like "Full Thrust" or the soon-to-be-rereleased Starship rules.
